To Battle

Decided I had to keep up with making action poses...this time in an environment. A city in shambles during a war! I've been playing a lot of Skyrim now since I got the DLC. My next image I already planned out will be more futuristic though.

Warrior Elf

..just...keep...drawing...ah. Well, I can't complain. Also have been playing lots of Skyrim and recently got Reckoning from a friend for my birthday!! ..If anyone thinks I have repetitive or annoying with the 'I should draw more' I highly blame my prof for constantly every class saying how we should never stop drawing. I have nightmares if I don't draw D:< . School is traumatizing me subconsciously apparently by the looks of it. ..

...ANYWAY. This is a 4h character drawing. Golden elf warrior....originally, I had a whole colour scheme made up for the outfit, but then conformed to all one colour. It still worked out.

Another WIP finished

posted a WIP of this a while ago...decided to finally finish it. Nothing special. More experimenting. I know I am not a big fan of just doing black and white..in a painterly way. Not so fun.
Maybe I need to draw more characters..I should get to that. I am supposed to be working on a collab with a friend...but I think that's going to be a slow and almost non-existant process. Not that I don't want to draw. I think I'm breaking my own personal record of posting nearly every day and drawing every day.

A side note...I will be reno-ing this blog a little...code gives me a headache now. It used to be easier for me to understand

More Architecture...

Not sure how long this took anymore..maybe seven hours.
Thought of doing more environment and character combos..this way I could practice integrating the character with an environment..lighting and all. I have proved to not be as great at that as I thought.

Tried some more interesting and warped perspective here just to make the city more grand.

This one is more based on a character I created..or should I more say written part of some story considering I never really drew him.

A Man

Well, if anyone follows what I draw...men is one of the things I don't...because I just couldn't get it right for the longest time. I think this is a minor success for the first time. ..Any issues I ended up having were of things I usually can draw/paint, such as hands. I think I just kept messing up the angles, but he was going to have something in his hand anyway.
Also, I'm experimenting with my signature...which I have not done in a really long time. It's like a logo..and logos change...

Almost done...need to up the contrast and....probably fix her expression...Decided to keep this image all b&w..

In-Class

   Theme was 'haunted by a freak' ...was really hard not to draw just some ominous tall shadowy creepy figure hovering over some small kid. Somehow it ended up to be a creepy tree-woman.
   One of the requirements was to have an illustrator component. Not fun...somehow I managed to last-minute think of making some magic circle-thing.

Project

Finished my two concepts for a project we had to create characters based on Adventure Time..
I have never seen the characters before and decided not to look so I wouldn't be influenced. This was fun.

Valley of Passage

I guess you could say this is me re-drawing something...and just making it better. Finally done. It did take me a while only because I could not decide how t draw her outfit....picky picky bout my characters. Friend is going to hate me because they are doing an art trade and were given the old version before break. OH WELL.

..Verde is a tough cookie..but doesn't normally wear pretty dresses you can't actually fight in...they're just so much fun to draw. Yep. I'll eventually get to the outfit i envisioned her in..which makes wielding a sword more easier in.
