WIP wave

stress-related assignment...more Adobe illustrator...it took me at least 8 hours of re-doing wave shapes until i got this right. T-T ..I need to add one or two figures..Not looking forward to that

Finished!

Great moment when you finish and image...originally was done last week, but I felt it wasn't actually done. Friends are great. Thanks to them I think the image is 100% better. This will be one of my entries to the Rising Stars 2012 contest (environment painting)>.< ..I have been mainly working away creating lots of paintings ..now the final moments to pick and choose. Unfortunately, I still have one more WIP that I also really want to use..Time isn't entirely against me as much as other projects are.

Colour

WIP! Managed to get base colour it in pretty quickly! Getting better at colouring..Before it used to take me an eternity to get the colours just right.
I don't know why, but drawing gothic architecture is so much fun. This is completely made up by me..inspired by Italy, Assassin's Creed, and gothic architecture..

Sketching..

So, yet another WIP...that previous poster hasn't changed all that much so I refuse to post it again (sick of looking at it)
Personal one this time. I kept starting some environments..spending about 2 hours trying to come up with something and nothing, just nothing was coming out. My inspiration might have died out a little. Decided to go back and look at my sketchbooks for inspiration and ran into some renaissance-y architecture details I was drawing for fun..the figure looks not so clothed just for now..

More Flamenco...

Really annoying process...From illustrator, to photoshop, back to illustrator and live trace for the millionth time..Decided i would treat everything as background before I transferred it back to illustrator, otherwise it just turned into an odd ugly mess of shapes on top of the nice yellow part..These are the 2 versions so far...I have no idea exactly how to advance or fix it..

Flamenco in progress

Flamenco further progress..Had to take in layers of illustrator custom brushes and turn them into jpeg, then return them to llustrator and live trace....it shrank the file...Kinda got interesting effects that I didn't have before. I need to up the contrast..change things around and perhaps even simplify...I have a muddy mess so far..

Illustraor Troubles

Not liking adobe illustrator...and we have to use it for project D:
File turned out MASSIVE.....though I kind of like where I am going with this.
Thankfully I know how to fix file size now..

 Theme is Flamenco....I'm also commissioned to do a flamenco-inspired painting..so getting some ideas for that.
